Foto dan video itu memang bagian masa lalu Tacconelli. Sebelum mengabdi sebagai pengajar, wanita 28 tahun ini berprofesi sebagai model. Ia juga mantan mantan ratu kecantikan Abruzzo, Italia.

Di salah satu foto, Tacconelli tampak berpose mengenakan baju polisi Amerika Serikat dengan belahan dada rendah yang memumbulkan buah dadanya. Foto lain, menampilkan sosoknya dalam balutan busana ketat sehingga menonjolkan pakaian dalamnya.

Karier Tacconelli di dunia pendidikan pun berakhir sudah, setelah muncul gelombang protes dari sejumlah orangtua murid. Mayoritas ibu tak rela anaknya dididik seorang guru yang pernah menjual keseksian tubuhnya.

Namun, di balik serangan itu, Tacconelli mendapat dukungan dari sekolah dan sejumlah orangtua murid dari yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki.
