Berdasarkan percobaan yang dilakukan Prof Manual Lead dari Duke University, kadal ini mampu membalikkan semacam piringan. Di balik piringan tersembunyi cacing, makanan kesukaan kadal.

Salah satu caranya dengan menabrak piringan itu hingga terbalik. "Saya terkejut dengan metode ini," kata Lead, Rabu (13/7) kepada BBC.
