Dibuat oleh kakek tua asal Cina, Wen Fuliang, telur ini diukir dengan penuh kehati-hatian. Awalnya sang kakek memisahkan antara si kulit telur dengan isinya menggunakan jarum suntik, setelah itu barulah Ia mengukirnya.
