Lamborghini akhirnya memperkenalkan sosok Aventador yang sesungguhnya kepada publik. Pantas saja bila Lamborghini membanggakan Aventador LP 700-4. Menggunakan material inovatif pada struktur bodi monokok yang terbuat dari carbon-fiber sehingga bobotnya menjadi ringan tanpa meninggalkan tingkat keamanan pengedara dan penumpangnya. Dipastikan bobotnya hanya 147,5 kg. Bodi monokok disatukan dengan frame aluminium depan dan belakang yang mampu menahan tekanan hingga 35.000 Nm per derajat sehingga total bobot menjadi 229,5 kg.

Aventador memiliki dimensi panjang 4.780 mm, lebar 2.260 mm dan tingginya hanya 1.136 mm. Interiornya diberi paket kemewahan bermaterial pilihan berciri buatan tangan terampil seniman Itali. Dashbord dirancang layaknya kokpit pesawat modern. Display menggunakan TFT-LCD.



Mesin V12 berbobot ringan 235 kg digunakan Aventador. Memiliki kapasitas 6.5L dan mampu menciptakan tenaga 700 hp pada 8.350 rpm dant orsi 690 Nm pada 5.500 rpm. Rasio bobot-tenaga hanya 2,25 kg per hp. Melesat fantastis 0-100 kpj memerlukan waktu 2,9 detik. adapun kecepatan tertinggi yang dicabeinsi 350 kpj. Lamborghini meyakini mesin V12 yang terbaru ini meyuguhkan emisi lebih rendah dari pendahulunya mencapai 20% dan peningkatan performa lebih dari 8%.



Aventador memakai gerak empat roda yang secara elektronik dikontrol oleh kopling Haldex hingga mili-detik. Drive Select Mode System menjanjikan karakter tersendiri untuk jeritan mesin, transmisi, differential, kemudi dan kontrol dinamiknya. ada tiga pilihan tombol, Strada untuk jalan umum, Sport dan Corsa untuk di lintasan khusus.



Suspensi Aventador menjadi yang terbaik menjanjikan pijakan dipermukaan aspal. Hal ini berkat suspensi konsep terinspirasi dari Formula 1. Dipadu double wishbone bermaterial aluminium. Adapun sistem rem menagaplikasi carbon-fiber keramik.

Untuk indonesia, Lamborghini Aventador di bandrol seharga Rp 12.000.000.000,- (dua belas milyar rupiah) tergantung orderan dan request dari pembeli, warna, bahan, interior, etc dan untuk produksi tahun 2011 sudah habis (sold out) dalam jangka waktu 1 minggu peluncurannya. jadi agan2 kalo mau beli tunggu kloter tahun depan

Lamborghini akan memproduksi Aventador sebanyak 4.000 unit, hanya selisih 99 unit dari pendahulunya, Murcielago. hanya di produksi 4.000 unit mengingat bahan untuk membuat bodi Aventador sangat sulit di dapat.
