Los Angeles- Sebuah foto bugil aktris legendaris Marilyn Monroe dalam waktu dekat akan segera dilelang. Foto yang merupakan salah satu foto dalam pemotretan yang dilakukan Marilyn Monroe bersama fotografer Bert Stern

Menurut laporan dari The Sun, Jumat (21/10/2011), rumah lelang Christie menurut kabar membuka harga 5000 pounds atau sekitar Rp 70 Juta untuk foto spesial tersebut. Foto tersebut memang terkait dengan momen istimewa Bert Stern dan Marilyn Monroe.

Dalam sesi pemotretan yang berlangsung selama tiga hari di bulan Juni tahun 1962, Bert mendapatkan sekitar 2500 foto Marilyn Monroe untuk majalah Vogue. Pemotretan itu sendiri berlangsung hanya enam minggu sebelum kematian Marilyn Monroe karena overdosis. Foto itu sendiri adalah bagian dari seri buka foto bernama The Last Sitting, yang dibuat Bert pada tahun 1992.
