1. Jepret foto dengan headphone
iOS 5 mengenalkan kenyamanan menjepret foto dengan memakai button volume up. Dengan fitur ini, pengguna bisa mencolokkan headphonenya dan memakainya sebagai remote shutter kamera.

Aksi ini memungkinkan pengambilan gambar dengan lebih stabil dan fleksibel. Dengan opsi menempatkan iPhone di tripod dan pemakaian headphone untuk mengaktifkan shutter, aksi memotret akan lebih menyenangkan.

2. Kunci fokus dan eksposure
Jika pengguna melakukan tap di layar, maka iPhone akan secara otomatis menentukan fokus dan exposure. Namun, masalah terjadi jika pengguna melakukan gerakan terlalu banyak. Kamera akan mencari fokus kembali dan mencari-cari tingkat pencahayaan.

Untuk mengunci fokus di obyek, lakukan tap dan tahan hingga 'AE/AF Lock' muncul. Dengan ini, jika pengguna melakukan gerakan berlebih untuk mengubah komposisi foto, maka fokus dan eksposure akan tetap terkunci.

3. Gunakan grid dan aturan 'rule of thirds'
Mengabadikan foto dengan aturan 'rule of thirds' lebih mudah dilakukan dengan memakai grid yang ada. Lakukan ini dengan menge-tap 'Options' > Grid ON > Done.

4. Cropping
Cropping biasanya dilakukan untuk mengubah komposisi foto dan iPhone kini sudah memiliki tool cropping secara built-in. Dan berikut langkah cepat memakainya.

Buka foto dari photo gallery, kemudian zoom dan pindahkan foto hingga berada di komposisi yang diinginkan. Kini tahan tombol home dan tekan tombol lock untuk mengambil screenshot. Foto yang sudah dicrop akan muncul di sebelah foto asli di camera roll.
