Albumin printing - invented by Louis - Desiree Blankar - Evrard in 1850. It was the first commercially successful method of printing on paper with a negative. It is based on the use of albumin (derived from egg white).

The paper covers an emulsion of egg protein (albumin) and salt (mostly sodium chloride). Albumin gives the surface a little gloss paper. paper and then placed in an aqueous solution of silver nitrate, which makes it photosensitive. The paper is dried in the dark, and after that - combined with the negative and keep in direct sunlight for as long as the image will not appear.

Opalotipiya, it is usually a photo or a portrait made of glass, having a translucent white color.

The basic technique involves wet collodion opalotipii or gelatin was patented in 1857, Glover and Bold of Liverpool. In In opalotipii used two basic ways that a carbon transfer print on the glass, or the effect of light-sensitive emulsion on a glass surface. Opalotipiya photography practiced in various forms until you faded and disappeared in 1930.

Opalotipiya is one of a number of early photographic techniques, are now generally doomed to historical status.

Cyanotype (old monochrome photographic print which gave the prints blue tint. This method was invented in 1842 by English scientist and astronomer Sir John Herschel).
