JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com � Komisi Nasional Perlindungan Anak merilis data bahwa 62,7 persen remaja SMP di Indonesia sudah tidak perawan. Hal tersebut diakibatkan besarnya rasa keingintahuan remaja SMP terhadap seks.
Komnas memperkirakan, dengan semakin banyaknya peredaran video mesum seperti sekarang, angka itu semakin meningkat lagi.
"Kami yakin hal tersebut akan lebih meningkat lagi dengan adanya video yang sekarang ini beredar," kata Sekretaris Jenderal Komnas Perlindungan Anak Arist Merdeka Sirait dalam konferensi pers di Sekretariat Komnas Perlindungan Anak, Sabtu (12/6/2010).

 Hasil lain dari survei itu, ternyata 93,7 persen siswa SMP dan SMA pernah melakukan ciuman, 21,2 persen remaja SMP mengaku pernah aborsi, dan 97 persen remaja SMP dan SMA pernah melihat film forno.

Menurut Arist, remaja SMP tergolong memiliki banyak pengetahuan seksual lebih banyak daripada remaja SMA.
"Remaja SMP perempuan memiliki pengetahuan seksual yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan remaja laki-laki SMP," katanya. Selain itu, berdasarkan penelitian, sebagian besar remaja SMP dan SMA tergolong telah memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai seksualitas.
