The world's deepest pool
It was built in Brussels, Belgium and has five levels of depth of 1.30, 2.50, 5, 10 and 33 meters respectively. It's called Nemo 33, in tribute to this character who lived in a submarine in the depths of the sea, born from the imagination of Jules Verne, and 33 as the total depth it has.

The pool was first built in 2000, and to ensure the project were several studies on rational use of energy, both for heating water, as the venue where it is built. In addition, the pool has a capacity of 2.5 million litres.
Among the most curious is that Nemo 33 (which incidentally belongs to a private club) is that it maintains a constant temperature of 30 degrees that are achieved by means of solar panels that are placed on the roof of the building, with this technology, divers have no obligation to wear a wetsuit to protect themselves from the low temperatures there are almost always in those depths.

Overall, the building has three channels of fresh air and several underwater caves. It also has a tube that has a diameter of six metres, reaching to the bottom of the pool. The project, which had a cost of 3.2 billion euros, will serve to train professionals, as well as to give beginners dive in a safer place to practice.
