That's smaller than the lens cap!

So I was giving a friend a 'lens demo' in the front yard when this little delight catches my ear.. Gee, at 200mm maybe I better get closer,.. no problem.

The best part was waiting for the wind to occasionally shift the leaves enough to light that critical eye.. and knowing that was the keeper shot enough to power down and mount the CF card.

I've got to learn to keep an eye on my ISO setting, at 500 (from last nights no flash pumpkin shoot) it was perhaps a bit hot for this exposure.

I'm sure I'll have more chances to catch the shimmer these tiny feathers can make in good light, and I'm mostly just sharing the story and my new little friend. P.S. I hope this is not too big, it really broke down at 800 pxls.
