I went to the Botanical Gardens in Phoenix this morning and shot a bit of everything except flowers

I have to start learning my dragonflies. I have no idea what kind this one is.

 

 

 

 

A lazy hummingbird. She sat on her branch and leaned over to drink.

Our state bird -- Cactus Wren

 

 

 

I was annoyed by a tree which obscured my sight-path to this Western Screech Owl (in a hole in a Saguaro). I was more annoyed by a Great Horned Owl who kept his face hidden behind some leaves.
