Salah satu artis dari Wina, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, telah merancang apa yang telah menjadi salah satu yang lebih unik dan merangsang visual bangunan di dunia. Dengan lebih dari 1000 jendela yang unik, individual pegangan di jendela dan pintu, atap yang hidup, cafe, tempat parkir, restoran, bar, taman bermain, dan berlari sungai, Waldspirale di Darmstadt, Jerman merupakan keajaiban arsitektur.

Karya terbaru dari New York didasarkan desainer Arakawa dan Gin, Reversible Destiny Lofts merupakan blok apartemen yang tidak biasa yang berbasis di Mitaka, Tokyo. Mereka adalah mata-penangkapan yang dicat terang Lofts yang terlihat seperti McDonald's bermain tanah melalui mata seseorang pada LSD. Arsitektur tampak seperti setelah gempa bumi yang ukuran 3, sedikit terguncang dan miring. Harga US $ 750.000 masing-masing.

Blok 16 adalah bagian dari rencanautama yang dirancang oleh OMA bergengsi baru pusat kota di Almere, Belanda. 6. Montreal's Habitat 67
