Alamak... Celana Dalam Pemain pun Dicuri

RUSTENBURG, KOMPAS.com - Ada-ada saja ulah maling selama Piala Dunia 2010 di Afrika Selatan. Saking penginnya mencuri, celana dalam pun dicurinya. Eits... ini bukan sembarang celana dalam, lho!

Juru bicara kepolisian, Junior Metsi, mengungkapkan petugas kebersihan hotel yang telah menyatroni kamar tempat para pemain Inggris menginap di Rustenburg. Lucunya, mereka lebih suka mengambil barang-barang pribadi milik "Three Lions" ketimbang uang.

Pencurian barang-barang pribadi itu terjadi sejak Senin (21/6/2010). Namun, korban baru melaporkan pada Sabtu (26/6/2010). Metsi mengatakan, jumlah uang yang dicuri mencapai 500 poundsterling atau Rp 7 juta. Kalau dibandingkan dengan uang saku dan gaji pemain Inggris, jumlah ini tak seberapa. Pencuri juga mengambil sebuah medal penghargaan dari FIFA serta pakaian dalam dan seragam Amerika Serikat yang dimiliki pemain Inggris saat tukar pakaian usai laga penyisihan grup. Jika ditotal, jumlah yang dicuri itu mencapai nilai Rp 90 juta.

Polisi langsung menyelidiki kasus itu dan langsung menyelesaikannya dalam satu hari. Mereka mencari ke rumah-rumah para pegawai hotel. "Setiap barang yang dicuri telah kembali dan mereka (pencuri) kini di balik jeruji," kata Metsi. Pengadilan khusus Piala Dunia akhirnya menghukum empat pria dan satu wanita yang dianggap bersalah dalam kasus ini. Semuanya pegawai di hotel Royal Marang, Rustenburg.

Metsi tak mau menyebut pemain mana yang kecurian barang-barang "berharga" itu. Pemain Inggris kini telah kembali dari Afsel setelah tersingkir di perdelapan final lawan Jerman
