Seperti tidak mau kehilangan kesempatan untuk menjadi orang tenar di dunia, sepasang pengantin baru asal China berharap bisa memecahkan rekor sebagai pasangan 'tercebol' di dunia.

Adalah Li Tangyong dengan tinggi 1.1 meter dan Chen Guilan dengan tinggi 70 cm, yakin bahwa mereka adalah pasangan 'tercebol' di dunia. "Kami menunda pernikahan selama tiga tahun karena keluarga kami tidak merestui," kata Li Tangyong kepada harian New Express.

Mereka akhirnya menikah pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2007 bersama 30 pasangan lainnya yang juga merayakan pernikahannya disebuah taman di kota Shunde.
Disela-sela acara pernikahan Li Tangyong dan Chen Guilan mengumumkan bahwa mereka telah mendaftarkan diri ke Guiness Book of Records untuk dinobatkan sebagai pasangan 'tercebol' di dunia. Tetapi sampai sekarang mereka masih menunggu jawaban dan konfirmasi pihak Guiness Book of Records.[ANV/jul].
