Metro Mini akan Pake AC
Jakarta - Untuk mendorong publik meninggalkan kendaraan pribadi, pemerintah berniat menggenjot layanan angkutan umum agar lebih nyaman. Salah satu triknya adalah mensyaratkan bus tigaperempat seperti Metromini dan Kopaja menggunakan pendingin udara (AC).
AC itu termaktub dalam Standar Pelayanan Minimum (SPM) angkutan umum yang sedang disusun. "Aturan-arutannya masih kita godok," kata Direktur Bina Sistem Transportasi Perkotaan Ditjen Perhubungan Darat Kementerian Perhubungan Elly Adriani Sinaga kepada detikcom, Kamis (17/6/2010). Elly menjelaskan, selain AC, dalam SPM itu juga akan diatur mengenai berbagai hal seperti kondisi bus, frekuensi bus dan juga akses masyarakat kepada angkutan itu. "Jadi tidak hanya masalah AC saja," katanya. Elly menjelaskan, saat ini AC bukanlah hal mewah lagi dalam angkutan umum. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari penggunaan AC di bus TransJakarta dan juga kereta api. "Jadi bukan hal yang aneh lagi kalau angkutan umum menggunakan AC," katanya. Sementara itu, Wakil Dishub DKI Riza Hashim menyatakan pihaknya belum mendengar adanya rencana itu. "Kita belum tahu hal itu. Sekarang kita masih fokus untuk memperbaiki pelayanan bus TransJakarta," katanya.
