Toure came in for criticism earlier this week for his performance in the 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich, with several pundits claiming that he did not play well enough to justify his selection.

The Ivory Coast international, however, believes the club�s fans will always stick by him, leading to his wish to win Europe�s elite club competition to repay their faith.

"I know the fans love me; they are always good to me," he told Football Focus.

"My target now is the Champions League. I want to win it for them."
